Christmas Reflections at the Pike Place Market

Christmas Reflections at the Pike Place Market

Title of Photo: Christmas Reflections at the Pike Place Market
Your Name: Marion Owen
Photo Story About Experience: Every November, when I visit Seattle, I head to the Pike Place Market to photograph bins of colorful fruits and veggies, loud guys tossing fish like footballs… But this year, it was late November by the time I got there and the Christmas decorations were up. Plus, it had been raining (surprise) and the streets were wet and shiny. So I followed a “reflections” theme, all the way to the neon signs, strawberry, carrot and pear reflecting on the car hoods and windshields.

Check out this really colourful picture which is a pretty interpretation of Christmas. But don’t hesitate to linger on this photographers’ blog especially on the picture of Deer in Morning Fog & Mist. Hope you enjoy this as much as we do.

  2. The best photo of the Market I’ve seen…and I’ve seen the Market from about every angle. I played music there…I slept there, I think, and used to shop there every other day or so when I lived in Seattle. Never saw it look so good…only thing I could suggest – is there a way to make this a scratch and sniff pic?

  3. I’m glad you liked my post on “Swords, Specters, & Stuff.” Welcome back anytime. Never been to Seattle but heard much about Pike Place Market, especially the fish tossing. :) Great photo.
