Photo Story: The photo was shot in the apartment of my friend Sheyla who lives in the old city of Havana, Cuba, She is an aspiring musician and everyday you can hear her practice her scales from down in the street from blocks away. I shot this standing on the balcony of her apartment one hot, sunny afternoon.
Country photo was shot: Cuba

A beautiful photo of a girl and her music – the room is so bare, little bit brutal and she fills it with her music and makes is sunny and soft. Wonderful photo.
awesome photo!!
Wonderful photograph! Love your gallery. Your photos bring everyday life alive.
The rarest moment captured, something you don’t see just any old day and something I feel privileged to see now, that is like a glimpse into ordinary life but so extraordinary. Absolutely INCREDIBLE photo!
Brilliant photo! I love her shadow in the sunlight within the doorway. All doors will open for this aspiring artist!

Thanks for sharing this great post, beautiful picture
I love this photo. I love the perspective you’ve taken of it, as if you were floating above and looking down, at an angle, that is simply inspiring. I also like the way the light filters into the room. Good work!
