Beautiful!
Stunning little guy with great detail
Look at the wings. Beautiful!
Thanks for nice comments! One of these lucky shots! I tried photographing hummingbirds for a while, and sometimes i had a good one. But this was all so quick that i only had time to point my lens and press shutter. only later i saw what I have!
Great job on the shot!
this is divine! The Bokeh effect only adds to this already amazing capture. Very impressive!
Yeah, Derek did a great job with the background.
Stunning! Look at those little wings go!!
Love the wings; beautiful!
I wish we had … hummingbirds in Sweden – such a delicate and beautiful little bird – you have really captured both in this photo – absolutely stunning. How can you capture it’s wings like that – wonderful to watch .. loads of action in this photo.*smile

Absolutely brilliant – this should be entered in the Veolia Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition.
Wow, absolutely amazing!!
awesum photo.
Gorgeous! Always wanted to try to get a shot like this. It’s WAY harder than I thought it would be, lol. First one must FIND THE HUMMINGBIRD, hehe. Snapping the pic, well, that’s a hurdle not easily crossed….(I am a photo-retoucher, I cannot take photos very well and only use Android cameras when I do!)
NICE JOB!
Keep posting your awesome shots!

incredible
heavenly
I love Hummingbirds this is the reasons why I am blogging because I found something about them that I never knew was inside of me because you can learn so much from birds.
I believe this is the best hummer photo I ever saw. The bokeh is fantastic. This isn’t a photo; it’s a watercolor painting!
Stunning photo .. is that a Rufus?? I’m in Victoria (Swan Lake) and thus far have only seen Anna’s .. thanks
Incredible photo!!
Awesome capture!
What a great photo shot! Called a “colibri” in French, though I’ve never seen one here.
When the weather is warm and the hummingbirds are migrating through one of my favorite quiet times of the day is watching them feed. I just love the little guys. I also love great photography. Thanks for finding my site so I could view yours. You have a new follower.
Thanks .. I love them also, these little birds are beautiful, tiny and real survivors!
Fabulous photo! I’m mesmerized by these creatures and sometimes they seem mesmerized by me. I recently moved to an area that actually HAS hummingbirds (a first for me) and on three occasions I’ve had one fly around my head checking me out from a foot or two away. Unnerving (you know… the pointy bill and all!) and humbling. I’ve been inspired to write about them, much like you are inspired to photograph them. What a magnificent source of inspiration!
BTW, thanks so much for stopping in on my blog SNEAKERS IN THE DRYER and actually LIKING something! It’s my first day on the air with it, so I appreciate the encouragement.
